Planning for retirement isn’t only about finances and unlimited free time, as Carol and Enise discovered when they retired – one had prepared for it every step of the way and the other suddenly found her job was eliminated. Typical of information-hungry ‘baby boomers’ they searched for resources covering the psychological and emotional aspects of retirement today, but they found very few. 

Enise and Carol were prompted to fill the need by combining a myriad of professional skills including marketing, teaching, administration, management and international employment placement, with their own retirement experiences. This resulted in the creation, development and presentation of a series of popular workshops on the topic of transitioning from work to retirement – and, they’re not about the money!

Based in British Columbia the two are regular contributors to national and other publications, appear as guest speakers and are active in various areas of the retirement planning sector in which they are well established.
